Legal Terms:

Letters of Note extends its shipping services to nearly all countries globally. Should you reside in a region we currently do not ship to, please get in touch, and we'll endeavour to find a suitable solution for you. We reserve the right to decline shipments to specific countries. Please note that once an order has been handed over to the carrier, we cannot guarantee how long a shipment takes to arrive and are not responsible for any delays.

Packaging and Shipment:

Our items are primarily dispatched via Royal Mail or reputable couriers such as DHL, UPS, or FedEx to ensure swift delivery. Shipping costs and available options for your order will be displayed at checkout. We strive to pack and dispatch orders within three business days of receipt, barring peak periods, during which it may take up to five business days. Orders placed after 10am on Fridays will be processed the following Tuesday. For urgent orders, please contact us at shop@lettersofnote.com, and we'll make every effort to prioritise your request.

Taxes and Import Fees:

Please be aware that Letters of Note cannot cover nor be held liable for any import duties, customs charges, or taxes incurred during the processing of your parcel through your country's customs network. Some countries impose customs thresholds beyond which additional taxes and handling fees are applicable. Prior to placing an order, it is advisable to verify these details with your government's tax and imports office to comprehend all associated fees.

Delivery:

For orders with tracked shipping options (FedEx, UPS, or DHL), you'll receive an email containing a tracking number once your package has been dispatched. Conversely, untracked shipping options (Royal Mail 1st or 2nd class) do not provide tracking information. In the event that the courier is unable to deliver your package and it is returned to us in the UK, we'll notify you via email. If you choose to have the item re-delivered, please note that in addition to covering the shipping costs, you will also be responsible for reimbursing us for the return fee incurred from the carrier. On the other hand, if you opt for a refund, we will deduct the return fee from the refunded amount. In this case, you will receive a refund for the value of the item less the return fee.
